IEEE ISBI 2020 announces the availability of twenty $750 travel awards made available through a grant from the US National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering, and National Cancer Institute. These awards will be distributed based on merit and need.

To be eligible, the first author of the ISBI 2020 paper should be either a student or a post-doctoral trainee at a US-based institution, or a young faculty member (who has completed their graduate degree within the last 5 years) at a US Institution. IEEE ISBI and NIH support diversity in science and engineering, encouraging women and minorities to apply for travel stipends. Travel awards are limited to first authors of accepted full papers. If awarded, the recipient should present their paper at ISBI 2020.

Application Deadline: February 15, 2020.

The awards will be made available after April 1, 2020, and upon completion of the application approval and reimbursement process. It is likely that funds will be disbursed after the completion of the conference.
