Saturday, April 4
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

We are proud to announce the first-ever ISBI Hackathon, held Saturday, April 4, 2020, concurrent with the ISBI workshops. The ISBI Hackathon is an opportunity to try new ideas, discover new tools, adopt open science best practices, and to meet people from diverse backgrounds that are pushing the boundaries of tomorrow’s biomedical imaging. We aim to create a friendly and inclusive environment during the full day intensive event, with the goal of creating and strengthening collaborations that can be pursued beyond ISBI 2020.

The Hackathon will be structured around “pillars” central to biomedical imaging, including:

  • Microscopy imaging
  • Histopathology and live-cell imaging
  • Liver
  • Lung
  • Brain
  • Image reconstruction
  • Chest X-ray

We are actively seeking volunteers to serve as “pillar leads” for each of these topics. Pillar leads will serve as local experts on each topic. If you are interested in being a pillar leader kindly specify the following -
